I'm leaving tomorrow!
For about 5 days. We set off on our road trip for Power's 21st tomorrow. Well, at least some of us do. Strangely enough, I'm one of those some. Yay! Will be fun. I love camping.
Went to the con today to pray on the first years. According to Greg, they haven't developed personlities yet. Ah well. Saw those two Cello blokes, Stephen (my 3rd cousin) and Andy. Not too much female talent yet. Ah. We can hope.
Shocking news! Symphony Orchestra and Gospel Choir is GONE!!! Wow. Amazement.
I'm going away tomorrow!
Warner's Bay music store is very good. They actually had professional trumpets there!
Um...didn't beach today, too cloudy.
Bout all. Later
Current mood: excited Current music: Nothing. except annoying buzzes from comp.

I had a good day today!
Woke up at 12..ish. Went to the beach (again) for about 2 hrs. Met lots o people down there. Friends with almost all of them. Some VERY attractive young ladies down there. Got somewhat burnt. Went to my old High School to collect Dad's car to get the tyres changed. While there, met John Gill, my old music teacher, who is also a trumpeter. He's selling his $3000 Flugel for $1800ish. I have that much! Yay! And cause he's a trumpeter, he knows what a good flugel is! And it's Rosegold. So I could have a Flug by next week! Yay! Anyway. Took the car to tyre shop. Got new tyres. Went back, saw Barry Eade, my old Maths teacher. Brief and amusing chat there. Went to Red Rooster. Mmm...chips. Met Power. Went to Camping Country Superstore, 401 Pacific Hwy, Belmont Nth. Your first stop on any adventure :) Convinced Power to buy a tent and airbed. Yay! Came home eventually, hot, tired and HAPPY!! I love having good days. Tomorrow, going to the con to irritate the Bridging course people, maybe practice (unlikely) and buy my Silent Brass mute at that shop in Warners Bay. Of course, after an hour or two at the beach. Been doing that a lot lately. Hmm. Oh well.
Then this weekend, going to Power's 21st in Bathurst with a bunch o mates.
Know something? I really love my life :D
Later.
Current mood: ecstatic Current music: Perry Mason Theme - Blues Brothers 2000 soundtrack.

9:35PM
Nothing exciting today. Got up at midday (too late) and went to 'Jazz under the Pines' with Bob Henderson at Caves Beach Surf club. They are apparently doing this semi-regularly. Kewl.
Went to church tonight. twas good.
Stayed up late last night for 'Whose line is it anyway'. Saw some Gangsta movie before it called 'Hot City'. Disgusted by gang mentality and callousness for human life. Unfortunately it's fairly real in the US. SOOOOOO glad I'm Aussie. Then saw Whose line. FUNNIEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!! Richard Simmons was a guest star. Made all the more funny by the fact that the first two games involved imitating him...but the cast didn't know he was on later. I was literally crying from laughter in that show. Ahhh.
Anyways. Bored now.
Ding something else. Later

I have decided to try and update this everyday. It really is only sorta so I can see whats happened when, so I might as well do it semi-regularly.
Um. I worked today. Rather dull, but Ben offered to let me drive his new car. Not a bad effort considering I've known him all of a month.
Nothing new to report. Except I've decided to transcribe 'Explosive' by Bond for Symphony Orchestra. It'll sound awesome. Shotgun playing the kit.
Anyways. Bored now. Going now. Later
Current mood: apathetic Current music: Explosive - Bond

It has been a long time, but as I'm going back to uni soon, thought I'd better update. Don't ask me why.
T'as been a long and good and warm summer. Sun is good. I am now browner. But not brown enough.
I got asked into the Ultra-Swing lounge Big band. Without audition. I am rather happy over that. Lots of money coming my way now. Huzzah!
Power's 21st in a couple of days time. We're going to road-trip it down, then camp down there. In Bathurst. Fun times abound. But it means I have to plan a trip. Oh well.
I went to Sydney yesterday. Just for the sake of it. Bought a Bond cd (the female string quartet...who are hot) and a Back to the Future CD, featuring the Power of Love! and the Halo books. Finished them last night. Good, if somewhat difficult, read. Not all the Spartans died! yay!
Got asked to do some Starstruck gigs. None paying though. Will have to think about that one.
Went to the beach today. Water was FREEZING!!!!! Stupid low-pressure systems.

I have Hayfever. Also it is very hot (or I have a shocking fever) and I am tired. AND I have a concert in the stupid hot concert hall today. Where is a corner. I wanna crawl into it and die. Stupid Westerly winds, bringing pollen and stuff from across the whole flamin COUNTRY!!!!!!!!! *sniff* Stupid Hayfever. *sniff*
I other news...there is no other news. I'm feeling too dodgy. AND I missed Merrick and Rosso Unplanned last night. Not happy. Hell, I'm just whinging now. But still. *sulks*
I have two assesments today, both taking the form of a concert. And a big concert on Saturday night. Then next friday is the Starstruck ball, which is a paying gig, but goes for four or so hours of non-stop Show stuff. So it'll be a long blow. I'm gonna die before than, methinks. (Don't worry/get your hopes up, I'm not suicidal, Just crook)
Anyway. I'm done whining. Laters

I put in my Sinfonia audition form too. Should get stuff soon. Good luck me.
Current mood: I need a drink... Current music: Hasn't changed in five minutes...
Which means its nearly Wednesday, which means its nearly the weekend!!!!*frowns*
I ahd Concert Practice today. Very exciting. Played through with my accompanist for the first time today. Then played it in the afternoon. Very silly...but hey!
My Principal Study (Trumpet) teacher today said I would get 9 or 10 out of 10 for my Teacher's report! Yay! That is good. Thats 90 or 100% which is pretty good here. I don't know what its like overseas...but in Australia its good.
Weather is absolutely GORGEOUS! Sun, nice warm wind, no cloud, humidity about 80%, temp about 25*C. I'd prefer a little warmer, but genarlly, thats pretty good. Considering two days ago it was an enormous storm.
Me and Andreas (pronounced On-dray) found a heap of MIDIs for Skared, so it makes making up the horn parts MUCH easier. Hoorah for us!
Thats about it methinks. Good day. Oh, saw Red vs Blue Ep 40 last night. AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Brilliant stuff! There's a new character, I'm not sure whether he's Australian or British, but he was amusing. But Caboose was the best. He went semi-evil again. And O'Malley wasn't there to help. *sigh* Amsuement is good.
Spelling correctly is bettr...
I go now.

Because our stupid transcription of Peter and the Wolf will be OVER!
To fill those not in the know in, in one of my classes, we have been re-writing the original Peter and the Wolf, written for Symphony Orchestra (with strings and stuff) to become Bruce and the Dingo, an Australian version, played by a Wind Orchestra (without strings and such). The Text was easy. And rather amusing. The music...less so. And Not amusing. Poor Talbot has been doing most of the work and nearly died on three seperate occasions.
But finally, its nearly done. So it should be as it gets performed in three days. And two of those days are a weekend.
Less bad news. Its raining again! It hailed at home this morning. I got wet.
I just checked my score on the RS ITOD. I'm back to 7th place. Of 13. Not happy. Damned BGN Himm El-Syna, 1LT Anton Nels, 2LT Vason Senmic, RA Tyrell "Spokes" Borran, BGN Mystic Warrior and MAJ Alexander. May they all get lower scores next time. Ha. What an evil curse that was.
Stargate was on last night. Very trippy episode.
Me and some friends wanna start a Ska band, we just need a drummer. And maybe someone on keys. I put together a CD last night of stuff which will sound good for starters. I'm listening to it now. I think its very good. But I'm a little biased...
Sinfonia audition forms have to be in soon. I'd better do that. Oh, and I need to find an accompanist for Concert Practice on Tuesday. Its Friday. I'm REALLY running out of time...
Hmm. Reading back over this, I feel pretty geeky. Oh well. C'est la vie. I'll go to the beach tomorrow and cancel it all out. I think that works...
Anyway. I digress. I'm hungry. Time for Dinner I think. Hungry Jacks, here I come.

Wll. I got my car checked for rego this morning. All good. Huzzah!
I am now listening to Bob sitting next to me playing games on the Wiggles Website. Yes, I too find this odd...yet strangely amusing. I am also in the process of downloading Red vs Blue ep 39! Yay! RvB rocks.
It is rather hot. Belligen flooded last night. (for those not in the know of Aus towns and whatnot, Belligen is a town about 4 hrs north of me). We had huge amounts of rain...but now it is okay. Rain has stopped in my area. Still going up north. And it is suprisingly hot for a day covered in cloud.
Hmm. What else...Bob just found a MIDI of a wiggles song. He he.
RvB just downloaded. So I'm gonna watch it.
Current mood: lethargic Current music: Some Wiggles song

Well. I did it. Because everyone else is, I made a journal. I feel like a sheep.
No really. A leg of lamb would be nice....mmmm...
No. Not really. I just ate.
So now I am sitting in the Music tech labs at the con, typing this and wondering whether or not to practice, while listening to the incredibly awesome Cat Empire. Track 5, Hello is playing. Damn it is GNARLEY!!!!!!!
I have an idea for a series of books. But I'm not sure if it would take off. More on that later. If you're good.
Thats of course assuming that anyone reads this. I don't know who to tell about this. Maybe I'm just shy...nah. Definately not.
Well, for a first entry, this wasn't as inane as it could've been. Oh, track 5 just finished. Track 6, 'One Four Five' has just begun. Yes, I'm doing four things at once, so typing very sporadically. The other things are listenng to the music and checking the Rebel Squadrons website to see if my last mission score got me anywhere on the ladder. It didn't. Damn. I know thats only three things, but still...lets pretend otherwise.
Well. Thats all the excitement I have for you at the moment. If you actually read this, chances are you're either RS or Con people, but we'll see.
Later
